Jorge Moreno is partner at inodú. He has 13 years experience in the energy industry working on a broad range of technical, financial and strategic assessments for clients in the energy industry, including generation, transmission, distribution companies, large energy customers, and the government in Chile.
At inodú, Jorge has led multidisciplinary teams in studies related to regulatory, energy policy, renewable energy project development and trainings in Chile.
Between 2005 and 2010 he worked at SYSTEP where he became a Senior Consultant and Project Manager. He led studies related to transmission planning, project finance, due diligence and power contract analysis.
Jorge has a Masters in Management and Engineering, a joint program between MIT’s School of Engineering and the MIT Sloan School of Management. His specialty at MIT was focused on energy systems and learning how to apply a systems thinking perspective that integrates management, technology, and social sciences.
He was part of the leadership team of the MIT Energy Club between 2011-2012 and has international experience working with companies in Latin America and US. While at MIT he interned at the Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems and General Electric.
He received both a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he focused in the study of energy management systems and energy efficiency measures for complex systems.
