Background: Electrical Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and currently working on a Master of Science in Engineering degree at the same university.
Plans after internship: Finish up my Master’s degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
The focus of my work as an intern at inodú was to support the development of data analysis tools. My work helped inodú further develop data analysis tools which helped clients gain a deeper understanding of the Chilean power market operations.
Among other tasks, I supported the efforts to better understand the deviations that occur between what is programmed and what actually happens in real-time operations. I also worked developing tools to estimate CO2 emissions in the power sector and studying how cycling of thermoelectric facilities has evolved over recent years.
I believe my time at inodú significantly strengthened my professional and academic skills. Not only did I grasp a better understanding of the power sector industry, but I also improved my programming, visualization, and analytical skillset.
Time spent at inodú was a blast. I had a great experience working with the team at inodú, being able to engage in interesting conversations and learn from the power sector and many other fields. The teamwork spirit at the office facilitated the execution of assigned projects, and encouraged personal growth.
